There is a great need to get Dia working with bonobo. The original impetus was for usage in gimp. But the goal of this is to make full bonobo support in Dia so that it can be inserted dynamically into any other bonobo compliant application, like gnumeric. (gimp does not use the gnome libs, only gtk, and this will require yet unknown amount of hacking). Here is the current thinking about starting points to the idea, anything that is subject to extensive dicussion, or anything that requires lots of conference should be done on the list. - create a set of UML dia-diagrams for the speficiation of these interfaces. then we can review them, and generate the needed bindings out of the diagrams?
